1.Where is the EXAKTOR saw fence system manufactured?
A.EXAKTOR tools are produced in Toronto, Canada to ISO 9002 standards using CNC fabricating machines and robotic welders.

2. What table saws can the EXAKTOR saw fence be used with?
A. The fence by itself has been designed to be compatible with the 2”x 3” front rail systems on Biesemeyer ®, Jet ®, General ®, Powermatic ® and similar commercial table saws.

3. Will the EXAKTOR Saw Fence fit my table saw?
A. The EXAKTOR saw fence system can also be purchased with the front and rear guide rails to retrofit table saws that have a minimum table edge depth of 1½”.

4. What materials are used in manufacturing the fence?
A. The body of the fence and T-bar are constructed from thick-walled aluminum extrusions with a baked-on powder coat finish. The fence has a steel quick-lock cam lever and convenient square and parallel adjustment controls. The face panels, on both sides of the fence, are hard wearing UHPE plastic.

5.What material are the guide rails?
A. The front and rear guide rails are ¼” thick steel angles. The front guide tube is 2”x 3” steel tube with a sturdy ⅛” thick wall. The guide rails and front guide tube have a baked on powder coat finish.

6. What is the length of the guide rails?
A. The front and rear guide rails are 80” long and will provide up to 60” of rip capacity between the rip fence and the saw blade.

7. Are replacement parts available in the event of wear or accidental damage?
A. All the parts of the EXAKTOR saw fence are replaceable. They are CNC machined and assembled with machine screws. It will not be necessary to replace the complete fence in the event of a worn or damaged part.

8. Do both sides of the fence have face panels?
A. Yes, they are manufactured from UHPE, a hard smooth surfaced plastic. They run the full length of the fence body, are ¾” thick, 2⅝” high.

9.Can the face panels be easily removed and/or replaced?
A. By loosening four ¼-20 cap screws the face panels can be removed. Each panel is attached to the fence body by these cap screws that slide into a T-slot located on the backside of the panel. The screws are easily accessible to allow quick replacement of damaged panels or attachment of your custom jigs and fixtures.

10. Can hold-downs and/or shop-built jigs be attached to the fence?
A. The top surface of the fence body has two T-slots that run the length of the fence. When the face panels have been removed both sides of the fence body have four ¼-20 threaded access holes. Using these T-slots and/or threaded holes it is possible to attach various devices and jigs as required. Instructions and drawings are provided for making replacements for damaged face panels.

11. Are instructions provided showing how to install the fence and/or guide rails.
A. Complete written instructions, with detailed drawings and a parts list are included along with instructions for making a shop-built extension table to be placed between the front and rear guide rails that project to the right, or left, of the saw’s table.

12. Is it possible to have the guide rails shorter or longer than 80”?
A. Yes. Custom lengths can be provided. However, if the guide rails exceed 80” in length it will be necessary to ship them by means other than UPS which may incur additional freight charges.

13.What kind of warranty is provided with EXAKTOR products?
A. All EXAKTOR tools are sold with a total customer satisfaction guarantee. You can use the tools for 30 days. If you are not satisfied or if the tools do not meet your expectations, you can return them for a refund of the purchase price. Thereafter, workmanship and materials are guaranteed for as long as the original purchaser owns them.

14.What is the size of the fence?
A. The body of the fence is 2½” high, 3” wide and 42” long, and will fit saw tables up to 32” in depth.

15. Does the fence have a micro-adjuster?
A. No. The hairline cursor can be positioned on the right or left hand side of the saw fence and is adjustable to allow you to synchronize the fence with the measuring scale with any type of saw blade for repeatable precision.

16. What about replacement parts and their availability?
A. The EXAKTOR saw fence is somewhat unique in that all its component parts are assembled with machine screws and are replaceable from stock. Should any part of the fence system become damaged it is not necessary to replace the complete fence.
